XZBMW  ISTA can't identify vehicle
Hello,

I have an issue with ISTA not identifying a vehicle. ISTA is v4.37.30 from Sedoy. I'm using ENET cable and it works fine as I can use FeatureInstaller and ZGW_search also finds the vehicle. ISTA connection manager also shows the vehicle but when I try to connect, it goes on identifying for minutes, then asks to manually enter VIN and ultimately fails to identify. PAD is active. I will also post pictures of error, connection manager and ZGW search.

Change at ediabas settings to enet and autodetect, then at ista use ediabas

Interface = ENET is already set. Is that Autodetect for TCP RemoteHost? XEthernet is also already set to Autodetect.

Also change at ista the connection to point to ediabas... and done

Really, ediabas with Enet cable? Last time I tried this it does not work unless with an icom

Yes... just try...
I have faced same situation of OP. This is a different aproach to solve the issue

use Enet at ediabas with TCP 6801, not XEthernet

You might want to use Ediabas Konfigurator to set the connection right.

Totally agree that the EDIBIAS configurator is the best bet. This is the easiest way... be aware there are two different ENET options, I can't remember what they are but I'm pretty sure one says ENET ICOM or something. If one doesn't work try the other one.

Id like to try this. Give details. Interface ediabas, in ista also ediabas. What else do we change in the ediabas.ini file?
