Bmw sport/comfort switch possible on manual?
So i have Bmw 520,F10(06/2011) and its manual not automatic. I installed this sport/comfort switch inside. I think i connected everything good because one mechaniker programmed it and it did work for a couple of minutes but then not anymore. Car showed mistake.
So does anybody habe experience with it? Maybe some manual for connecting cables to ICM? Or should it just be programmed in car differently? Thanks for your help |

RE: Bmw sport/comfort switch possible on manual?
On manual transmission this switch is only possible on F10 car from build level 0911 and up. At this build level F10 has new ICM. Old ICM and switch (without ECO mode) only work on automatic transmission.
If my post helped you hit the thanks and reputation button. Thank you.

Do you maybe have a scheme for connecting this switch? |

RE: Bmw sport/comfort switch possible on manual?
You changed your ICM? Before 0911 and after 0911 the ICM's are completely different. Design, housing, wiring, connectors etc.
You can't just "swap" that. Also it probably needs other DSC and ACSM. Circuit diagrams can be found in the ISTA. |
