Check hall sensor of the hitch. They are probably faulty. Or someone lifted the hitch and used the electric motor as a handle, the G05 hitches don’t like that.

Also the switch is only there to prevent moving when connector is inside socket and throws separate error if faulty, and when faulty hitch should work normally.

IMHO there is/are Hall sensor(s) inside the motor.

Yes,hall sensor is in motor,but I think,sensor inform about work motor,,,while switch  informs module AAG tow hitch position.

SOLVED !

They have managed to do all things wrong.

Including swapping the WHITE and WHIRE/GREY wire - when installing the cable in ....

Some mechanics should not try to do electric work....
