hello everyone,

So I have a bit of a challenge. My parents bought a f21 lci and it has a decent amount of options.

Lane departure warning, lane assist, 360 camera, active cruise control, NBT evo.
since it has the lane assist and departure warning i wanted to put a steerwheel heater button in it and code it.

unfortunatelly some options are retrofitted and I think this is where the problem comes from. 

I added option 248 to the FA and read ecu with esys and pushed "code" on the FEM, NBT and Kombi.

to my surprise the lane departure warning stopped working and the screen of the NBT went dark.

i had code B7F8E5 and fixed that with tool32 (TELNET_ZUGANG_AUS)

now the NBT is green in the module tree but still nothing on screen, audio works.

codes I have now are:

801A50: SINE: fault in speaker circuit detected
This is a faulty alarm speaker i guess.

CAAC0D: CAS/ FEM interface (ZV and lid status, 0x2FC: signal invalid

CB1612: message (radar sensor, rear-wheel drive, 260.1.4) missing

D90D19: assist system operating unit (BEFAS) (LIN): incorrect version installed

anyone got any idea what to do? i`m kinda stressing here..

I dont know. Where can I find this? We just got the car.
VIN of the car is: WBA1P510605G49722
It has the navi pro from factory but I dont know if that is supposed to be next or evo.
It has an evo with touchscreen in it.

Just calculate svt soll and see if the NBT is same or give different ecu

This VIN has like 20 retrofits (I lost count after 10) registered at BMW. I suggest you first check what is actually there and cleanup your FA.

P.S. I have attached both exworks FA and the one with all the retrofits registered at BMW. Compare with what you read from the car.

Is it smart to make the FA in the car the same as the FA list you just send me?
Then read SVT and code?

Yes i`m dutch. Live in province of groningen.
I can use all the help I get. even people that may think they know nothing can sometimes have good ideas. And compared to some of the guys on this forum I also feel like I know nothing at all.

the FA is the same except i also have 5AD lane departure warning in it.
The car has the triangle things in the mirrors with the camera underneath.

saw that people add 5AG on youtube but I can`t add 5AG some how. also i`m using bimmer utility to change coding

update:

nbt screen works again.

i did the following:

CID_APIX_MODE = APIX2
CID_COM_MODE = MMI
CID_COLOR_DEPTH = 24bit
CID_RESOLUTION = 1440_540 (might also be CID_DISPLAY_RES)
CID_DISPLAY_SIZE = 10_25
DISPLAY_VARIANTE = breites_display
DISPLAY_SIZE_RESOLUTION = 10.25_1440x540
DIMMUNGSVARIANTE neue_dimmung

Glad that works again, now on to the lane departure warning.
As I said, on the youtube tutorials they add 5AG to the VO. if i search 5AG in bimmer utility it doesnt find it and when I add it manually it gives me an error.

Any ideas?
