RE: Strange Problem X1 E84 goes in P when driving
the two errors from the pictures means that the message from pt can is missing.
iam right that this message comes from the junction box? because yesterday i was at the car and the jbbf has different vin so it was changed. i have code it but nothing happens. the car is from 2014 and the junction box (jbbf) has software from 2009. with ZB nr 9187544 now i think there is the problem. but can software update help or maybe the jbbf is wrong part because it is old maybe it can not fit with 2014 x1? that is now the question. what are the next steps to test. software update or change from the jbbf? |

RE: Strange Problem X1 E84 goes in P when driving
This car needs JBBFR3 HIGH2 LEAR PL2_2DT while that ZB number is from JBBF70 High4 PL2 19W. Could be completely different hardware (IDK about their internals). You need proper JBBF.
P.S. Message does not "come" from JBBF in the sense that it originates there. JBBF just forwards that message from FRM to EGS. But it must know such message exists and needs to be forwarded to EGS. Given that ZB number has no updates, there is nothing to update it to. You could try flashing it to JBBF3R firmware, but you would need to use expert mode and if hw is even a bit different you will end up with a dead unit. I would just replace it with a proper one. P.P.S. You need one of these: 9219278 9219283 9227184 9226337 9227190 9226331 9227184 9229878 9229883 9247476 9253486 9264577 9286790 9298948 9305739 9329800 9344845 9364819 9267209 9234008 9247472 9253482 9267205 9264573 9286785 9298945 9305736 9344843 9329798 9364817 |
