hello,

I have a 2012 US import Rolls Royce Phantom which i need to convert the rear tail lights to EU/UK spec.

Does anybody know the coding FDL changes that need to be made and if any wiring is needed?

The rear lights have been changed to UK spec lights

For fdl coding compare the FRM cafd for US and ECE then transfer the coding.
For wiring looks like only rear fog lights.
You will have to confirm using wiring diagrams.

01/12 Production USA Rolls-Royce Phantom RR1 Series II Rolls-Royce Phantom. Type Code: FJ63
01/12 Production ECE Rolls-Royce Phantom RR1 Series II Rolls-Royce Phantom. Type Code: FJ62

Then code out rear fog etc

I have not managed to get around to do this as of yet but will be with the car today.

I have found that the vehicle is Model Code: FJ83 and the ECE version will be FJ82.

I will change the FA to have FJ82 and code the relevant modules and save the NCD files for comparing.

I will update once i have completed.

You do realize that you can do all those calculations using ESys without a car? You just need to have FA and SVT. (And current codings, if you wish, but those can also be calculated.)

P.S. And certainly NO NEED to code whole car with EU typecode.

I have the latest PSDZDaTa full but it doesn’t have RR01 files for some reason. Once I have this I will be able to get the FA and SVT

You do realize that if it's "old" Phantom RR1, then it's NOT PSdZ, but SP-Daten based vehicle??? Meaning coding with NCS expert, etc...

P.S. If engine is N73 then it's DEFINITELY SP-Daten based.

Its weird in old PSDZDATA i can see RR01 as a connection target. When trying to connect via esys it shows VIN of vehicle and when selectin other connection target and reading ecu's it shows some.

Yes,

@ShawnSheridan has confirmed that the RR01 was dropped from the PSDZDATA about 6 years ago (17-07 v62.3)

So will need to find another way of doing it.
