Is it possible to some how activate Driving Asssistant Plus on G26 offline with FSC code? Can anyone make FSC for this car? Car is brand new, delivered today.

IMHO it's possible neither offline nor online. Especially that car does not have even non-pro driving assistant...

Ok, i understand. Thing is that one of my really good customers called me and asked this and that is the reason i reached out here. I thought he had the hardware to enable this. I hadn't have change to take a look at this car my self yet.

Node is right, in my country, the Driving Asssistant Plus is option, need extra money to enable it when buying the car, so if hardware is ready, means software is ready, the function is useable now. If function is not useable, means no hardware installed.

OK, my reply was about DA-Pro (Plus on older cars), which is a car option.

Question potentially was about DA-Plus, which is a new thing bookable through connected drive portal on newest cars. This is very new thing which I don't have any experience with, but let's look what it says in CD portal:

Ideal upgrade for Driving Assistant

Individual functions of Driving Assistant Plus are:
Steering and lane control assistant
Active cruise control with Stop&Go-Function
(Automatic) Speed Limit Assist for Dynamic and Active Cruise Control
Distance Information

So lets go one by one:
Ideal upgrade for Driving Assistant - supposes car should have 5AS DA option. IMHO it should have 9QV Driving Assistant Plus preparation TOO. Which provided VIN has neither of. Also not sure 9QV is available on G26 at all (and I'm saying this because 9QV implies MRR-32 which does not seem to be fitted onto G26).

Anyway, with 9QV car gets MRR-32 mid range radar (same as with 5AU). This car has 5DF active cruise control with Stop&Go-Function. But that is MRR-02. Still should function similarly. MRR-32 is probably required for distance information (if it is what I think it is).

Availability of either 5AS (DA) or 5AU (DA pro) means car will have short range radars. That is probably necessity for steering and lane control assistant. At least for lane control part.

So that leaves us with KAFAS. This car has KAFAS 4 mid, which is the same as with 5AS. So lets look what is possible with it alone. KAFAS 4 mid can have 4 FSCs:
14A - lane departure warning - car has it because 5AQ active guard plus.
14B - speed limit info - car has it because 5AQ active guard plus.
14C - pedestrian protection - car has it because 5AQ active guard plus.
1B1 - high-beam assistant - car has it because 5AC high-beam assistant & 5AQ active guard plus.


So my conclusion is that this car already has the best it can according to it's hardware.

IMHO 1BF is NOT used on S18A cars. Which this car is.
