If you used beemerboy's ISTA P loader before, you have to take the updatefix in order to make the installation process work.

Sorry.forget to tell you.I used BMW Admin client 3.7.0.3 and not ISTA-P loader by beemerboy.

From your link.the file name is "BMW PSdZData Tool v2.2.rar",is this "Update fix"?thanks.

3.56.0.5 version is installed. Update 3.56.1 final will rollback operation, the display is not updated.
C: \ ProgramData \ BMW \ ISPI \ config \ TRIC \ ISTA-P \ Fingerprints \
has "ISTA-P_3.56.0.500.ok & ISTA-P_3.56.1.002.error" files.
How do I solve it?

I did a clean install of all ISTA / P again.
Installation and update functions properly.

Remember, there should be no modified file manually.
Otherwise, it will NOT work.

First, install 3.56.0
After, update 3.56.1

It has to work properly.

Get this original file of ISTA-P 3.56.0.500 and copy to:
C:\ProgramData\BMW\ISPI\data\TRIC\ISTA-P\BMW\DataProcurement\cfg

Has anyone tried to do an actual programming of F series car with ISTA P 3,56.1?


I tried today on an F series 523i, 2010. After connecting the car and starting ISTA\P, the popup came as usual: Has control units been replaced?`Connect charger bla bla bla.

After that it read the modules and the progress bar said: determining target context.

And it stood there for 45 minutes not doing anything else. Never experienced it taking this long to do, anyone else had experience with this or any tips? Did i not wait long enough? Other models never take this long.

Turn off your firewall or,
Make sure that the following ports in the firewall are open:
Port 80 TCP
Port 443 TCP
Port 23011 TCP
Port 23012 TCP
Port 427 UDP
Port 11352 UDP
