Hello gentlemen,
I recently had a BMW e39 530d 193 HP at the workshop. The customer replaced the flow meter and after the replacement the car lost power, the economizer does not close, the set values for the current MAF are different. I know that there was a change in these cars and the software had to be updated. I've done a lot of DDE3 via winkfp. Unfortunately, DDE4 crashed at 0%. I managed to download the file via Kess and after the fifth attempt, recovery was successful. Nevertheless, I would like to make this car so that it has power. I have the original file. Would you be able to do this so that I can then upload it with Kess?

Hi,
maybe you have a faulty MAF?
I believe all airflow meters for DDE4 184/193HP were the same
your's version of car is 2001 so it already had the latest hardware.
It's possible to MAF off in this ecu , but requires lot of effort to set it up properly

E39 M57 have 2 types of MAF sensors (old one is recall on 2001 year). Your sensors old one and new one are equal (the differences is on air intake side)?
But anyway the last version of software works with new type of MAF sensor..

Uncheck "Fast baudrate" in WinKFP and must work with flash new software.
