My son performed a DPF regeneration using 8.19 which ended successfully.. If someone suggests a telecoding scenario, he might oblige and run a test. He is into Medical Engineering.. So, please be very detailed (step by step).

Telecoding work ok on 8.19
but smeg+ and touchscreen does not

Which DiagBox version is your system reporting.. and did it work for smeg+ and touchscreen before??
I know that the smeg+ was fixed in 8.15/7.79 according to the Citroen site.. but I don't know about the touchscreen.

Unfortunately dear simple, I couldn't perform that trick. I must update step by step.
update: win xp. i first setup 7.02 from scarymistake and then replaced my app with yours. then I also replaced my original language xml file with yours. then i restarted my pc but i realised that nothing was change in the software interface, still 7.02 with the same cars. so i understood that i should have had a mistake. i put my original app in c: and uninstalled the version. i don't know where my mistake was.

Please update your post to reflect what was your DiagBox version and if there was an issue and how did you solve it, so that other users can benefit from the experience.

@fusername,
The DiagBox transformation does not include "C:\AWRoot" 8.19 which has the Profile Configuration files, interface and report the version number.
So, your interface and and the reported version number on your computer will NOT be changed, but you would be working with the latest applications within the APP folder.
Hence, it looks like it has worked for you..

My experience: diagbox was very slow on my current xp sp3 and extremelly slow on virtualbox xp sp3
then i made room on d: partition, resized it and created new e: 20gb partition with bootable minitool partition wizard
installed xp sp3 together with .net 3.5sp1, vc++ 2008sp1 and java 6.45 (i think java is not necessary to be installed as diagbox uses its own java) and then diagbox up to 7.83
now diagbox working very fast, as it should
don't need to renew laptop with 50€ ssd 120gb, although it would be even faster...

I have opened my AL4 transmission, cleaned it and changed a solenoid. During the process, my DiagBox would not recognise my Transmission ECU, while it read all errors and deleted them???
I read somewhere that someone was having a similar problem and only a very old Lexia version would recognise his ECU.. So, i set my self out for the challenge and started with Lexia 421.16... it worked (it has Firmware 4.1.6). Then I installed Lexia 345 followed by 346.22 and 347.19, they all worked, but when I upgraded to 347.99; it did NOT work, I had the same problem I am having with DiagBox (all versions no matter which Firmware is installed)....
So I went back to Lexia 347.19 and tried all updates one by one, up to 347.66, they all worked.. But Lexia 347.76, .87, .94 and .99, all did NOT work... By the way, they all have Firmware 4.2.2.
I guess reliability is more important than looks in my case!!
P.S. I also downloaded and installed DiagBox v8.20/7.84 update, not announced on PSA site yet!!.. This is the original download that is not reconfigured, it has components for "AWRoot" only.. DO NOT TRY IT if you don't know what you are doing, it will render your system NOT WORKING for sure. But if you want to have a go for fun, the link is in the attachment below..
