Yes you need key and elv that fits the cas module. Otherwise you will not get ignition 12v

but i look elv emulator in ebay, a bit expensive, but i will buy.
wiring only is need power supply for CAS and JBE, Canbus wires, ELV + OBD?

Something like this, I get term 15 on most w/o EVL but I guess that depends on what ur doing. I'm doing mostly DMEs and CAS

If you have CAS3 then flash it with e90 software without elv...

Look on cantiecar adapter. You can plug any exx CAN ecu directly to adapter.
