When you look in devices manager in windows, your cable is correctly seen ? If it don’t, reprog FTDI chip

It is not a hex-v2, it’s fake v2 (chinese invention). And your cable don’t contain atmega. It’s nec chip, so you can’t upgrade it

How I can update this HEX V2 ?
Works on 17.1.3
FW 1.96
HW 0x46
While trying to use VAGCOM_EEWrite shows baudrate error.
Connected to car with ignition ON.

You can’t. It’s a Nec chip.

What about replacing that chip? I believe as blank chip will be about few cents on ebay.
But can be programmed by usb after replacement?
