I updated my vcds cable through usb I started vcds software and did the test it shows firmware 1.95 and said updated needed. I pressed update but after a while says unable to update. Anybody have any ideas as to why

Loader version ?
Last fimware is 1.96 (inclued into vcdsloader v8.0 by Kolimer)
If the fw update don’t work via usb, you need to upgrade via external programmer (like USBasp...)

I installed the 19.6.1 with the loader 8; VCDS starts, but it says version 18.9.1, anyway as soon as you get into engine you get an error.. all in all I had to go back to 18.9.1, which works great.
