[Question] How to use newest ISTA-P without IBAC Codes for F-Series for flashing - M-Simon - 18-03-2018
Hi,
ISTA-P Support for newer models (like F, G and I Series) was discontiniued (last version with full support was 3.63.4).
But I heard / and read that newer ISTA-P versions can be still used with IBAC-Code for the affected models.
What does that means excatly? There are a lot of tools for generating IBAC-Codes (like ISTA-P Launcher from Beemerboy88) but this codes are only for retrofiting as far as I see.
How can I flash the entire car with ISTA-P and IBAC Code / which IBAC Code have to use?
I think this is important for users with retrofitted ECUS which should not be flashed in ISTA-P in expert mode.

ISTA-P will give you the order code, for example 001D.
Then generate the IBAC.

The session can be continued with the IBAC code, retrofitting is no longer available.

Two solutions.one is IBAC generator then whole car programming will go on.the other is ISTA with all programming data was installed before.

I understand how to generate the IBAC code to enable ISTA-P, but the latest standalone versions do not contain PSDZ. Can I simply inject the PSDZ from the same version into the ISTA-P/BMW/Services/data/ecudata folder to enable ISTA-P for F-series?
