E46 2002 + icom + no communication - lustek - 16-12-2018 Hi, I try to connect to E46 2002 year with icom. In ista i get: "The vehicle could not be identified. Please check the access to the vehicle and check whether the testing-analysis-diagnosis has been activated" In Inpa IFH-0010 error on every module. It's icom so no need manipulate pin 7 and 8. Mayby ediabas? I have installed only patched - 7.3. I shoud try with 2.12? Could be problem of the ICOM not detect KL15. Check also power on pin 16 on OBD of the car, and when ignition is ON also pin 1) If you use ISTA you select ICOM/ENET in VCI, ediabas patched is not used.(Directly from ISTA to LAN adapter) Are u using ITOOL radar or Easyconnect to reserve ICOM when working with INPA? Does ICOM shows up in connection manager of ISTA ? RE: E46 2002 + icom + no communication - lustek - 16-12-2018 Hi, Yes everything is OK. I use that icom many times. In ISTA kl15 and kl30 voltage is showing OK so pin 16 and 1 OK. In Inpa 2 black dots. I try to reserve icom in itoolradar and easyconnect. I install ediabas from standard tool 2.12, configure it by bmw coding tool but no communication. What voltage should be on pin 8 and 4/5? RE: E46 2002 + icom + no communication - Vojno - 16-12-2018 45 is the GND 8 is the K-line with about ~12V! You have to use Occiloscoop. RE: E46 2002 + icom + no communication - lustek - 16-12-2018 4/5 is ground i know. So I can't put multimeter one leg in 4/5 pin and second in 8 and meansure voltage or resistance?I dont have osciloscop. You can measure a voltage on the k-line and signal gnd on pin 5 that way but it dus not say anything about the quality of the data signal. Normaly K-line idles high, with a 510 ohm resistor to Vbatt RE: E46 2002 + icom + no communication - Cowboy - 16-12-2018 (16-12-2018, 13:59 PM)lustek Wrote: Hi, check if the IP address in Ediabas .ini is the same as the one you see in iTool Radar. RE: E46 2002 + icom + no communication - lustek - 16-12-2018 I configure ediabas to work as remote. Ip address is in remote.ini. i check them and is OK. What I can do else? Tomorrow i will check fuses. If any module is faulty, they can block k-line and diagnostic? RE: E46 2002 + icom + no communication - Fatalix - 16-12-2018 Is there anything retrofitted to the car that could interrupt the Kbus? You could try any disconnecting one pin at a time for the kbus connection under the right side of the dashboard behind the glovebox to outrule any interruptions there. |
