Ista D 4.10.20 failed to start - rickynguyen - 22-01-2019

Followed the instruction in FAQ file but start failed, tried to removed and installed many times but nil help, what was i wrong ? tears

Pictures attached is all i installed.

Ediabas installed in c:\
Rheingold installed in c:\
SQliteDBs unziped to c:\Rheingold\

Ediabas installed in c:\
Rheingold installed in c:\
SQliteDBs unziped to c:\Rheingold\

Did you unblock all files before extract?
Check registry settings.

what about BLP/SDP ? did you extract `em or disable it in gui config ?

If you have downloaded Spider80 Standalone install package ? you have created the PATH incorrectly.

It is C:\BMW\Rheingold\ *_*

BLP needed!!!

BLP downloaded and unzip to instruction folder but still same errors

I've been told BLP not required for diagnostic only. There seems to be lots of conflicting information regarding this. Anyway, I have installed without BLP and ISTA starts fine - I have only done fault scans so I don't know whether things such as headlight calibration works or not. Can you clarify what would not work without BLP, Shinoby?
