Opel Astra h cim - dantools - 16-03-2019
Hello i have and Old cim need to replace with new one
But on new one i Can find eeprom
But on old one dosent seems to have that eeprom
Any who knows?

Looks to me like chip missing on second photo it's meant to be there you can see where someone has removed and not cleaned the pins look at the blobs of solder on the pads. If it wasn't meant to be there on that particular cim the pins would be clean

There is nothing renoved car can drive with Old cim.
And the new one is original from Opel so IT must be new model
But its wired there is No 95160 eeprom
Is it beacause the eeprom is in mc9s12 chip?

that's the chip you should be reading.Get the pin then reset cim and code everything with opcom

I have pin from ecu
Tried learn brand new cim
Reset ECU and learn cim and ECU. And learned the old keys
Car still dont start

You have to reset and learn IPC UEC REC too

Can i burge in on this thread, or should i start a new one? I have a similar problem with an Astra H. Keys lost, tried programming after resetting the CIM, but no joy. Try resetting the ECU says no password programmed. How possible is that?

If you need key programming only, you shouldn"t reset CIM or ECU.
