Hello.
I have 2016 F10 without HBA button on leaf column and In FA also do not have 522/552 Xenon Light. But the car has a Xenon Light lamp according to the factory.

I plan to equip HBA. I have Mirror purchased on ebay.

I plan to equip the HBA separately and do not replace the whole cluster as I see there are 3 wires (Yellow-Red-Orange) in order and plug socket identical. Does it work when the steering column is installed?

hba can work without hba button on f10, just a code line in frm, otherwise i think you will need the whole szl

is it works without the HBA push button on the steering cluster
Let me ask more. If so, how do I switch off HBA?

if you want full control then you need to make proper retrofit with button , coding works only if F10 to have the HBA auto on as soon as the auto lights is triggered too .

if there is no 522 then there is no Xenon , 90% chance that HBA wont work even you retrofit it 100% as OEM .

and the picture you posted of the car FA , car has LED fog lights but nothing mentioned about 522 at least . 522 is monetary for HBA to work as far as I know . maybe I am totally wrong

After 7/2013 all F10/F11 have at least xenon headlights (no more halogen), so SA522 is not necessary anymore, and is not present in FA.

yes exactly as claw said , sorry i didn't see that car is F10 LCI , xenon is standard from factory therefor there is no 522 and yes HBA works 100% even without adaptive headlights ..

the difference is that with adaptive headlights and HBA , you get VLD (Variable Light Distribution) . without adaptive headlights you get Generation 1 HBA

I'm just having a hard time where the button I want to block is HBA.

if it is your own car then temporary finish the retrofit with coding , if you want to stop AUTO HBA simply don't put the light switch on AUTO LIGHT lool smile

Mirror according to vehicle (factory) A60 has 3 wires like New Mirror position (Pin 3-6-10)
The new mirror has 6 positions, 3 of which are similar to the old Mirror. I searched on the newtis web. I speculated that position 4-5 was for K-Can2. But do not see foot position 9

Connecting the car to the open PC E-sys I saw ECU FLA3 (5f) but did not see the cafd
I did not write 5AC to my FA car, but I have my own FA which has 5AC (correct Vin my car) and activated. Read (VCM). Select ECU FLA3 >> Detect CAF for SWE >> select the latest one >> OK >> Code work successfully. I had CAFD for FLA3
