VIN change with Tool32 - youbarajs - 13-06-2019

I tried to change the VIN in the Combox module using Tool32, here are the steps i followed

Loaded Tool32
Selected cmediar
Under jobs, selected c_fg_schreiben
Pasted the VIN on the section below Arguments
Clicked on 1 time process button (or whatsoever its called, (1~>))
repeated the process for c_fg_auftrag

While the process states job successful, but when I read the VIN using INPA its shows "yyyyyyyy"

Am i doing something wrong?

(I am trying to change the vin back to my original vin)

Do you input only VIN or VIN with the 17th digit checksum number?
I always use the VIN with 17th digit checksum number (from NCSExpert for example) and it usually works. Never done Combox tho.

Inpa is reading from the UIF field.

If you run job C_FG_LESEN it will likely show your correct vin, if you want to get rid of the YYYYYY you need to also write the uif using job AIF_SCHREIBEN.

Vin + Checksum from the ncsexpert FA screen (total of 18 digits,17 digits VIN and 1 checksum)

I will try this and report back..

I tired to write vin with AIF_SCHREIBEN job, but it gives me following error, am I missing something

"Error_vehicle_identification_NR"

I followed the similar process of selecting CMEDIAR and changing the VIN using  AIF_SCHREIBEN job.
