NBT EVO dead after running feature installer - egoy936 - 27-09-2022
I am Retrofitting a g series NBT evo into F series. I was able to flash the unit successfully however it VO locked. So I ran feature installer with full fsc, FS CarPlay, VO unlock, and remove CP.
Feature installer finished with error. I know can’t see it in Esys or any other application. I also can’t ping the unit. I am afraid it’s dead.
I do have vvdi prog so I can BDM read/write if someone can help repair. Or any other ideas?

Why was the REMOVE CP necessary?
You did all of that using one feature code?

You are right it’s not necessary! And yes that was on feature code I have done this before no issues!

It looks like bricked unit. It can be recovered only by reprogramming MCU on bench.

You have to do Tal-Processing on bench and need SWT packs

for the future: you NEVER use everything in one code, just don't be lazy and use different codes for every action. if you bought it from someone and didn't create it your self, you should consider changing your provider.
