Hey guys, anyone knows how to disable this (8TH) on e82?

Removing 8TH from VO does not work as NCS seeks for another ABG ecu as a result

I found some values called FGS in the ECU but setting then up to Nicht_Aktiv does not get the faults off.

Car still complains about rear sensors right and left, but these have been disconnected

did you check wiring diagrams? I think you should disconnect some lines from ABG ecu...

If you want to turn off Sensor. Before coding they must be disconnected from the circuit. Check the connections well in the diagram

Sure. I can disconnect the 2 pairs of wires for the rear actuators if you recon that might be it. Worth a try at this stage

I think E82 without pedestrian protection does not exist, so ncs changes ECU to something that does not existi, Maybe disconnect hood lift explosives and than manually do the coding?

Sure. I can disconnect the 2 pairs of wires for the rear actuators if you recon that might be it. Worth a try at this stage

E82 has 2 different airbag ecu like I said, if car has 8TH option or not, I know that already and like I said I already tried disabling FGs entries in ECU using NCS with no effect. Faults still present. And obviously I already disconnected the sensors based on diagram information

How about flashing airbag ecu ExpertMode to a non 8TH option ? Since there are two different ecu’s for e82 that would mean this could solve the problem ?

Maybe, but if hardware is different I might brike it...
