RE: a6 4g lci lane assist under 65 kmh possible?
I also asked already - someone did this to a friends car for 100€ but lane assist is working very bad. It did not change Ecu ID so it must be modded parameters. But the person is doing it remotely over Teamviewer with remote usb 5054a. So nobody sees what he is doing
To get original audi parameters for 8E, 8E must be flashed with Odis online connection, they are not available for public at the moment. there is a tsb to update with svm code - afterwards it gets parameters. after applying parameters and before ending svm flashing, it is possible to take parameters xml from Odis directory. Svm Code is: 8EA002 and will flash 8E ECU with Firmware 4H0907107H 0092. no recalibration needed. Hold file ready because it must be placed in datflash folder in Odis directory, when your Odis-S is not connected to a vw/audi mirrorserver/2 The parameters can than be found in: C:\Program Files (x86)\Offboard_Diagnostic_Information_System_Service\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\bundles\114\data\dms2\ or C:\ProgramData\Offboard_Diagnostic_Information_System_Service\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\bundles\114\data\dms2\ It depends on your Odis-S version. Some audi parameters are base64 encoded so it has to be decoded (easy) and then there should be hopefully a big Hex string. On Russian site for pACC application on vw cars, someone explained parts of parameter files. The right place has to be found, and edited. At end there is some checksum this has also to be recalculated and then everything must be done backwards (base64 encoding) and apply with Odis-E. But don’t ask me on which Hex Block you have to edit something, I don’t know it and don’t know what the Hex Block is doing. vcp diagnostic tool already got 60 seconds lane assist for vw cars with parameters, so it must be somewhere in it. Example of vw parameter for cruise control radar is attached, there you can see which parts have to be in it like car info, parameter info, checksum … Thinking about something like country info FFFFFF… or all features activated with FFFF for 8E ecu, and checksum recalculation at the end, but it will be try and error, because I have also not a a6 4G only a friend. If my answer helped to fix anything, then don't forget to give me some rep please!
