E90 2006 330xi n52 after start clamp 15 goes off
Hey guys,
I am having a strange problem with one e90 2006 330xi. Car after start runs 1-2 secs and then it turns off itself, clamp 15 goes off. 1/10 starts car runs ok until next engine start. Car does not write ANY errors. On a car was made already: another CAS another fuse box with JBBF module another EKP unit another start stop button on WUP 15 I tried to disconnect every module by the wiring diagram if the problem is not there, no success. Did not anyone face this problem? Any hint what to check? Car is 100% original, nothing aftermarket installed there. |

RE: E90 2006 330xi n52 after start clamp 15 goes off
Scenarios I imagine can cause engine to go off without any errors
1. Loss of voltage or bad ground to CAS/DME/Junction box/Battery 2. Faulty DME 3. Loss of fuel 4. Faulty Valvetronic 5. Crankshaft or camshaft sensors Check these . |

RE: E90 2006 330xi n52 after start clamp 15 goes off
Thanks for the hint, but the main problem is that the clamp 15 goes itself off. I would understand if the engine stops itself and the clamp 15 stays on, then the problem can be in point 3,4,5, bad ground or coils. I will try to get another engine unit and clone it if there will be some progress...

RE: E90 2006 330xi n52 after start clamp 15 goes off
Did you check the Valvetronic Eccentric Shaft Sensor connector for oil inside?
If it had oil inside connector. This is from my friend showed me few years ago, when I had the 2006 330i, car sold. Try this to find the Valvetronic Eccentric Sensor is bad. 1. Disconnect the Valvetronic motor connector. 2. Use the Allen-wrench “I don’t remember the size” turn the screw clockwise until is stop. 3. Turn the screw counter clockwise 14 turns and DON’T connect the connector. Start the engine, if engine run as normal then the Valvetronic Eccentric Shaft Sensor is bad. |

Well there are few drops of oil inside...
I tried to check the Valvetronic sensor by your guide but the result is still the same unfortunatelly. Just to complete your thread there is 4MM allen-wrench. Just to verify - I left the valvetronic sensor still connected and disconnected only the VVT motor. |

Emulator instead of ELV did not fix the issue.
