Can't clear OpenSSH error B7F8E5 from MGU
Hello,
I recently retrofitted a virginized MGU to my G05, it was updated with correct FSC codes and all works fine. However, in ISTA, it shows error "B7F8E5 - HU-H: Unauthorised access to control unit activated". I attempted to follow the Test Plan to fix the issue in ISTA, but receive an error that "Console access cannot be deleted" and that the headunit needs to be replaced. Does anyone know how I can remove this error (without replacing unit)? I have heard that flashing to updated software (HU is currently on 22-11) might clear the error but if possible would like to find a different way, or confirm that will work. Thanks |

RE: Can't clear OpenSSH error B7F8E5 from MGU
Why not ask virginizer what to do? IMHO hacked firmware was installed. And it's not even clear if your unit would keep it's FSCs and certificates at all if updated...
P. S. Don't understand why go into such trouble (meaning virginizing, etc) unless retrofitting onto another car. For repairs these can now be reused the official BMW way (by asking them). |
