NO, you do NOT need to be connected to a car to run ANY calculation.

Some modules show no CAFD, others show FFFFFFFFF. That does not automatically mean there is something corrupt in here.

Sorry everyone, got a little busy but I had some time loop back. I was finally able to figure out how to perform a TAL calculation without connecting to a car. This was the first time I ever tried this. Hopefully I did this correctly. Attached is a screenshot of what is shown. 

If I'm not mistaken does this mean there is a physical difference in the hardware/SM and they can't be used with the car/FA?

In the end I was able to get everything functioning correctly. The owner was able to get the original seat modules back. Swapped those back in and with those in the car I was able to determine the following:

- CAFD #/ID (not sure what this is called) of original comfort seats match CAFD ID of the NCD file I had from a G80 with carbon bucket seats
- Just took that NCD file and FDL coded both seat modules with the G80 Carbon bucket NCD. Seats worked perfect after that! No errors and all functions worked correctly!
- I could VO code the original seat modules with original FA (obviously) but would get the same CAFD error when attempting to VO code seat modules with modified G82 FA for Carbon buckets. This was also likely giving me issues and why I was able to still partially code "wrong" G80 seat modules with original G82 comfort seat FA
- I'm going to assume there are more modifications required to the original FA to have proper coding for G82 carbon buckets other than the changes I mentioned earlier. Wouldn't be able to confirm without comparing against a proper G82 FA for carbon buckets

That's what I thought. Also forgot to mention TAL calculation was done using unmodified G82 FA for comfort seats. Didn't try modified FA since I don't believe it would have been correct.
