Hi,

have replaced TCU on a 0AM DQ200.

After replacing TCU, I have no communication in ODIS-S or VCDS with TCU.

Is there a procedure to do on a new TCU? Will ODIS-E recognize it, and can i simple flash SGO then?
Car is in another workshop, and my ODIS-E is on a stationary PC in my own workshop, so if i know it will work with ODIS-E with flashing, ill tow the car there..

If ODIS-S and VCDS does not recognize the TCU, neither will ODIS-E.
So, reinstall the old TCU and see if that one is recognized to see if new TCU is good or you did something wrong when removing/installing TCU.

its probably refurbished... BUT i already bought another one from same seller, and it has the same problem.

so if it isnt recognized in ODIS-S with normal diagnosis, there is 0% chance that it might only need to have a SGO / FRF injected with ODIS-E??

whats the common procedure when u replace/renew TCU?

it would be helpful to write data from the old and data from the new control unit here and which Car?

Post P/N and SW version for both units.
Depending on the P/N may have or have not IMMO.
