I had same problem a couple days ago, I tried yellowstilo's solution cutting permanent 12v to ecu and giving power to that pin from ignition but it didn't work, eeprom kept changing again,I had to let it syncro with body computer. However another one I did immo off a while ago had no broblem, it didn't change the eeprom.

Probably It was T1 and this one is T2..I think this is the problem
