as far as I remember , Eseries TV signal not compatible with NBT and EVO , same scenario with aftermarket cameras with EVO . only few brands of aftermarket cameras are compatible with EVO .

the normal 3AG coding in EVO is as the following :

- HU_NBT_EVO > EXBOX 3001 > CAM_ECU = wert_11  (  quadlock pin # 21 = video + / pin # 24 = video - )
- HU_NBT_EVO > EXBOX 3001 > CAMERA_SYSTEM = trsvc

Comment = describes which camerasystem is used

OPTIONS
  none (None) = 00
  trsvc = 01
  icam_rvc = 02 - Comment = Für G11 muss der Baustand noch auf 07/16 geändert werden (wenn Verfügbar)
  icam_high = 03
  icam2_rvc = 04 - Comment = Für G11 muss der Baustand noch auf 07/16 geändert werden (wenn Verfügbar)
  icam2_high = 05

- HU_NBT_EVO > EXBOX 3001 > MACRO_RV_C = aktiv

then with a help of a relay , you can switch between front and rear camera video signal, i only did it once and i used relay with reverse light power signal as a trigger for the relay , but that was in NBT1 .

in carsystems emulater , they have an option to enable front camera using night vision simulator so can be enabled even while driving .

i just looked at my archive , customretrofit adapter is designed to activate night vision to display the climate display , some MS-DOS style display which shows the ventilation direction etc etc .. this is only useful for E6x but for E9x the climate controller already has its own built in display .

RE: {Help}BMW ENBT front and rear camera and tv module (NBT EVO))
answer from dealer:

""Hi,

You must know that EVO has only NTSC 3.58 video input standard. There is no “china made” camera with this video standard, all “china” cameras are NTSC 4.43 so image will be black&white and out of sync. With EVO you can install ONLY bmw original cameras TRSVC from F series or ICAM. There is no option for front camera with EVO unless you install ICAM surround system from F15/F16.

Same NTSC standard problem is with E series TV module.

Regards,""
