BMW E70 “Level Control System Failure”
Hello,
I have removed the air suspension from a 2007 X5 E70 and I’m getting the “ Level Control system failure” message. Is it just a matter of altering the VO and removing something or is there anything else to it? If anyone knows full steps that is appreciated. Thanks |

RE: BMW E70 “Level Control System Failure”
You should remove from VO option 2VA or 220 and code KOMBI. Use NCS for coding.

RE: BMW E70 “Level Control System Failure”
I've had two scenarios occur on E70's, 1st when Zav's soulution makes the message go away, i.e. SLS is full removed from the E70; 2nd, when the messages still appear. Always try Zav's approach first, if this does not make the message go away, then set SLS timeout in the kombi to not active (nicht_aktiv) and the warning will go away. EHC_APPL_MONITOR.
Hope this helps, Al. |

Is this using NCS Dummy? Thanks |

Hello, I have changed FA and removed 220 and coded just the Kombi module (sg_codierin) and then when I have checked the .TRC file when reading the Kombi the ehc_Appl_monitor is nicht_aktov. I can’t find the SLS timeout function. I have still got the error On the dash, any help? Thanks |

Update: I tried clearing fault codes with Carly (was using Launch before) and the error has gone and doesn’t come back even after turning the ignition off etc. But when I scan it with my launch it comes back up? I’ve cleared it with Carly again and hopefully won’t come back. Thank you everyone for your help O (09-04-2019, 14:33 PM)m3nt4l Wrote:(09-04-2019, 11:08 AM)m3nt4l Wrote: U(06-04-2019, 23:50 PM)Alwilco Wrote: I've had two scenarios occur on E70's, 1st when Zav's soulution makes the message go away, i.e. SLS is full removed from the E70; 2nd, when the messages still appear. EHC_APPL_MONITOR. error came back but realised I hadn't disconnected the module!! All sorted and no error on dash/iDrive! |
