EDC OFF on a F11 (Coils front+rear in)
Hey guys, need some advice from you.....
f11, EDC is going out and coils going in (front+rear). Than i need to bring it to a normal working condition... I have already done it on a normal f10, but this is f11, and i dont know how the rear axle would behave itself... on f10 i simply deleted: 2VA, 223, 229 coded: DSC HU KOMBI ICM was working well, without comfort mode, not a problem. How about rear axle of f11? EHC has to be deactivated? car coding like a f10??? Anyone done this already? Some hints? Hi,
Correct me if i'm wrong, but as all of the F11's came with EHC, I think it should be done some way with an F10 type code, remove EHC VO (if it has one), then unplug EHC ECU and code DSC and ICM, you should not code HU and KOMBI because it would change the pictures to an F10 one, etc. It's gonna be tricky either way

the ehc has probably no vo, it is determined by typekey and chassis, esys recognize f10 - no ehc - and so on

HI,
EHC on F11 was standard options, so it is no need to deactivate it. Change the EDC shocks to standard shocks, and code the whole car with EDC VO. Then remove EDC ecu... By the way, for F11, there are no sprigns for rear available as far as a know. Thorsten BMW OEM SFA region change

Hey, i have f11 with changed edc shocks to standard. I have remove $223 from VO coded DSC ICM KOMBI HU_MID. Fault on dashboard turns off but in ista+ ecu tree i have 4 shocks and VDM ecus on red ( no cumunication )

...it seems, that you havent disconnected the ecu and perhaps not saved the VO without 223 to the car

Ecu on a-pillar on right side, under glovebox is disconnected, and each time i read FA in esys dont see 223 there.
