Dear all,
Need your advise for my problem.
 
my SD C4 unable to connect after xentry upgrade to 07/2019, before using ver 12/2018 was ok. The error msg as below:
"Initialization of diagnosis multiplexer failed. Possible causes : the link between the diagnosis multiplexer and the diagnostic socket is interrupted. The link between diagnosis multiplexer and the diagnostic unit is interrupted. The voltage supply at the diagnostic socket (circuit 30 and (or) circuit 21) is faulty".

If it tested om the SDconnect toolkit, the connection is ok. the padlock shows active. But, if I use DAS/Xentry, the padlock status is no active/no connection.

Probably no reinstallation needed. Could you show your multiplexer configuration screen? Are you using Road24h or infrastructure mode? Better to add a screen capture from your WLAN card IP settings too. Not enough if the IP has not changed, need to know if it is matches the mux IP and mode.

I think I have a similar problem with a Serial:100925 SD Connect C4 I manage.
It was running happily on 03/2019 Xentry.

Problems happened after a China vendor tried to update some things on the laptop for SCN coding. I wasn't there, so I don't know what happened. I already did a clean reinstall.


Now the mux connects to laptop, works fine, but at random times completely disconnects and doesn't work with Xentry, during running diagnostics on a car. I have left it running for hours on bench, and it is fine on bench.

Something isn't right. Can anyone advise?

Should I update firmware? Which ones do I choose in Administration? In what order?

Those fields should not appear "empty." Make the initial configuration and change the number to the multiplexer that is not zero.

Please report too. A lost configuration (00) we see quite often at the forum but I did not expect 00000 serial number. Sounds more serious to me.

Seems like they update but forgot the blacklist.
Try to update your sd connect again, make sure your update folders are not renamed with xxxx or similar.
