RE: Wich ICOM should i buy?
I would suggest to hold out with your ENET cable for now, as the ICOM Next has just been released.
The Chinese claim to have copied them. However the Chinese also sell ICOM A3 - just an ICOM A1 with an A3 box invented by the Chinese. Actia did not make an A3 version. If we consider this, my best guess at the moment is that the Chinese ICOM Next is an ICOM A1 in a different box, but I could be wrong. The other interesting part is that there are rumours the official device can be bought cheaper from BMW than the Chinese are selling their version. Virtually no-one has these yet so we don't know if it will cause problems with the versions of ISTA we are familiar with, and it seems like there will be big changes to BMW ISTA as well soon, so if you aren't going to be making money with it, you may be better off holding out. |

Icom next a man can have in the BMW niederlasung legally for about 450 €,
one must say that it comes under workshop equipment, so that the preparer finds partnumbers in system ICOM NEXT A: 81 31 2 360 883 (main adapter for all others) about 450 € ICOM NEXT B: 81 31 2 360 884 (Most adapter for BMW Exx ...) ??? € ICOM NEXT C: 81 31 2 360 885 (old car adapter 20 Pin) ??? € ICOM NEXT D: 81 31 2 360 885 (motorcycle adapter) ??? € BMW supports ICOM NEXT until 2022 + You need the software (ISTA / D / P) looking in the forum. Sorry about my english, this text is translated with google translator --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- das icom next a kann man schon in der BMW niederlasung legal für ungefähr 450 €, man muss das sagen das es unter werkstatt ausrüstung geht, damit der bearbeiter die teilenummern auch im system findet ICOM NEXT A : 81 31 2 360 883 (Hauptadapter für alle anderen) ungefähr 450€ ICOM NEXT B : 81 31 2 360 884 (Most adapter für BMW Exx...) ???€ ICOM NEXT C : 81 31 2 360 885 (alte auto adapter 20 Pin) ???€ ICOM NEXT D : 81 31 2 360 885 (Motorrad adapter) ???€ BMW unterstützt das ICOM NEXT bis 2022 + du brauchst die software (ISTA/D/P) schau in das forum.
