I couldn't find a source for a good used Genuine version so I ended up settling for a Next Clone in the mean time. Actually works really well and will do me until I can get my hands on a Genuine on in the future.

Hello, here in Latin America BR, the dealerships do not want to sell to third parties.  I have a genuine NEXT that I bought on ebay in 2016 it was one of the first ICOM NEXTs that even had a recall and I didn't know and I couldn't do it. I bought some clones too.  but it's not worth buying an ICOM NEXT clone.  because the genuine ICOM NEXT is gigabit and the NEXT clones are only 100 megabits.  My clones are not NEXT they are the previous one which is also 100 megabits but 2 of the clones works fine.  the third one he is losing communication with the vehicle when I start the car engine or turn on the source stabilizer, that is, when it exceeds the voltage above 12V to 13V he loses communication. I already bought two ICOM NEXT clones which was where I did the test and I saw that the NEXT clones are only 100 megabits and are not gigabits like the genuine ones and the two NEXT clones stopped working.

The ICOM I ordered January 2022, finally arrived this week. Was a bit of a surprise actually - price has gone up too. Cost me about 460 GBP, but just glad to have it.

There is news that a new icom is coming out, but it's not accurate.

I also want to get icom as soon as possible
