I need to replace the battery of my girl's Skoda rapid spaceback. The battery is AGM, does it need to be coded? How is it done with VCDS? THX Regards |

RE: Battery AGM need coding??
Yes, you need to code. Just type in the vcds battery encoding into Google and A procedure is described

RE: Battery AGM need coding??
I, in its day, also doubted the issue, because when I changed the battery, I did not see anything strange, but they had told me that it had to be coded, so that the car would understand that it is new, right?

RE: Battery AGM need coding??
That is correct.
New battery without coding will not last long. New OE battery with coding will last 7-8 years at least. Nee AM battery with coding will last 4-5 years, depending on what brand you choose. If i've helped don't forget the magic buttons, thanks + rep
