I know about the issue with the 1ms, that has always been the case. But even with the 1ms I can not read a fault memory. Very strange...

I have installed an older version (4.27.30) on a notebook and it works without problems.


I also noticed the following. When checking in on my F07, the software gets stuck right at the first point.
It is displayed:

SBGD: G_ZGW

STATUS_VCM_GET_FA
ERROR
Vorgang kann nicht fortgesetzt werden!
Bitte abbrechen und anderes Fahrzeug anschließen!

Under "Funktionale Jobs" "Ident" and "FS Lesen" are working.

And in ISTA no equipment is displayed.
I guess that VCM/FA can not be read from the ZGW...

I think most of my colleagues here will have an ICOM, but everyone with a DCAN adapter should also have difficulties.

Or can one or the other maybe try to read a F or G model with an "old" OBD interface with a current ISTA?

Why dont you try to read the car with just a ENET cable?

Yes, of course, that's not the problem. I also have an ICOM Next and an older ICOM A, so I'll always be able to get to my F07 somehow.

But I would still be interested in why and when the old DCAN interfaces no longer work...

Did you use the  old DCAN on E-series and does it work with ista 4.33.30?

I haven't tried it yet. But I can try it tomorrow with 4.33.30 on my E61...

Just installed 4.33.30 and now says firmware update but my ICOM Next is already on latest firmware 03-15-08. Is there a newer one?

EDIT: all is well. I had to just pretend to install it again even though it was already installed. I ran installer and it finished. Then i connected fine.
