Hi all maybe someone have idea and can help me..
i try now Long time to start this Car some months is a X5 E70 4.8 2008

What Happens??

-Engine start normaly like all day and works for 10-20 secound and go off
since this time i try all to start again but unlucky


What i try:

- Change Cranckshaft Sensor
- Change Camshaft Sensor
-Test CAS
-Add New Key
-Try whit Other DME,CAS and Key from same car
-Test Ingnition Coils
-Change Ignition Harness


THE CAR ARE ALL TIME WHITOUT ANY ERROR first after try start whit other ECU,CAS and Key get ERROR
DME Ignition and Ignition 2, Monitoring: combustion Duration !!
This error is now same whit OLD ECU,CAS and Keys !!

Fuel is 100% Here Presure from Fuel 100% OK Injectors are actuated too

i have no more idea this car made me crazy hope someone have any idea, just what i see someone Play anything before whit VVS Valvetronic but think anyway Need start same if VVS not works

P.S. off corse i made all time Sync DME-CAS

IF ISTA give no faults maybe there are no electronic faults.

Did you do compression test for each cilinder?

Did you hear strange noise after the 20 seconds the engine was running? 

I had one at our garage with chain problem and al the inlet valves where damaged, no start ,no compresion and no fault in ECU memory

i do but not for last left or right no place here is no Sound aftter car go off same whean i try start sounds for me normal  maybe like on one place (cylinder turn Little faster) not sure some guys say NO Sound pefect but same i ask me if chain is really posible on both side same time?? think happens one of one Million time .. but maybe is exactly that i will check VVS first becouse see someone Play anything before whit VVS but like i say same if VVS of he Need start and made spark like i know

Replace injectors and sparkplugs if it is a petrol. Check that you have good compression in all cylinders. The fact that there is no error suggests that all electronics are working ok and injection is ok but the combustion is not happening as expected either because of a bad mix or a mechanical issue within several cylinders.
