RE: OP-COM v6 with "fake MCU" REPAIR
Of course you cannot.
"HQ clones" use cracked softwares. With other words the tool must not be in hq clone mode. Good luck |

Well same as like before , removed "C11" and connected pin1 to pin23(MCU) everything seems fine but "led's flashing proper when i hit diagnostic button can't get to talk with cars" i guess this lame PCB ver more than different previously PCB versions.. |

RE: OP-COM v6 with "fake MCU" REPAIR
Interface test - OK? Can you see the fw1.45?
Do you try in k-line cars or CAN BUS car? Try to uninstall the driver then reboot and install the driver manually. Then go to driver properties aand check if the VCP is tick it. If yes untick it and then unplug and plug it back the interface to the USB. Do you hear the relays during the car test? Good luck |

RE: OP-COM v6 with "fake MCU" REPAIR
Hello friends and Mattydr67 thanks for sharing.
I also have a model with fake mcu connect to the C22 and D5, I saw a model called Opcom Plus, do you think it will be more stable to work with CAN and Kline protocols? Respect for you and thank you in advance |

RE: OP-COM v6 with "fake MCU" REPAIR
Mate in this days it is very hard to find a clone with real PIC18F458.
All important in a china clone to be stable is: - real PIC18F458 - real firmware - good components - use a real opcom/vauxcom softwares In the rest how the plastice enclosure looks like or how they call it "Plus" or "Pro" or whatever it doesn't matter If you change the MCU in your fake MCU opcom and you flash a real firmware you will have a good stabile opcom interface. Good luck |

RE: OP-COM v6 with "fake MCU" REPAIR
Hi dear Mattydr67,
Thank you very much for the guidance, i understand a lot better. Actually my card is green, marked "Opcom V5" date of 2013-6-2 with this famous D5 and C22 + MCZ 33399 line K and 2x TJA1040. I did a test with the software "Vaux-Com" on old vehicle using K line and it was very unstable, i could not connect to the ECU but at times it was possible to view some parameters on different modules . Another time, i had a more recent opel so i could make a stable diagnosis but using "Op-Com_2010" short i also understand that this tools that i own is more suitable for the 2010 soft but not the "Vaux -Com ". I thank you personally for all that you do for us amateurs ... i have often read and learned thanks to you, respect for your kindness, i wish you, health, peace, success and happiness, Thank you. |

RE: OP-COM v6 with "fake MCU" REPAIR
Thanks mate.
All your issues come from that "fake MCU" If you will replaxe it with an original one and you will do the hardware change you will see that all will ve stable as you want. Good luck |
