In hindsight, the PSU that @ninja_zx11 is probably the best home made solution! My final conclusion is that the dual DPS-600PB is ok for coding/flashing sessions on our F8x series, but one should definitely have a voltmeter/ampmeter hooked up to it (ebay) and monitor the draw during flashing sessions. Disclaimer: in order to attempt such a DIY, you need to have and understanding of electrical circuits, electronics and good soldering skills as the cables used were quite thick, I hope that helps and be safe. |
