Hi.

I need some help regarding cloning of a EDC17c64. I just recently learned about not being able to transfer software directly from one EDC17 to another, because of OTP.

New ecu is EDC17c64 - 04L906021EQ 6284. I also made a complete backup of that, included in "NEW ECU" dir, of EPROM and Internal Flash.

VIN is VSSZZZ5FZFR058329 if needed.

I have a couple of small question though:
Firsly ofcause if transfer is possible for these 2?

Secondly - before i needed to replace the original ECU i had a tune made, based on the original files from the old ecu - will i be able to use this tune after transfer (if only the EPROM is modded?) - if not - would it be possible to use the tune as the base for the modifications? (if not, too bad - i will have to get it re-made then). Just in case i have included the tune in the "OLD ECU" dir and the file is called .tune

And if ECU's wont match, would it be possible to make a immo off of the old original that i can then use on the new ecu (no warning lights/errorcodes)?

Hi! First of all thanks for your time. Okay sorry for the confusion, but that is very wierd. - the vin i wrote was from an ID i made with MPPS not the actual tool i used (KTAG) However i now just looked up the vin in the registration database and it is indeed: VSSZZZ5FZFR058329 however - i also just checked all my read files and the Old Ori file is indeed the file i sent to you, and i have a couple of reads from it and just compared them - they are identical ...

So now i am wondering what could be wrong here, i dont get it?

ups, sorry, i mixed your date with others from another car...
but you shult have for eeprom 64kb and flash 2048KB

Phew - lol - great ... eh .. no EEPROM64 kb, flash is 4mb . which i know is correct.. ?!
