With EDC17 you cannot write files from one ecu to another it doesnt work.

i have written them and car started but errors p1570 and p160a with immooff17 i wanted to go off dash lights.

As I said it doesnt work. 5 x dtc p1570 was removed in my file but still it is there. It is also likely that no eprom off solution exists for this car.

Ok your ecu numbers look to be different to me, look for a donor ecu of the same HW SW numbers.

then try immo off here, but do not write from one ecu to the other with edc17.

I need some help regarding cloning of a EDC17c64. I just recently learned about not being able to transfer software directly from one EDC17 to another, because of OTP.

My Old ecu is EDC17c64 - 04L906021EQ 7540. I did make a complete backup with K-Tag clone of EPROM and Internal Flash which is included in the "OLD ECU" dir in the attached file.

New ecu is EDC17c64 - 04L906021EQ 6284. I also made a complete backup of that, included in "NEW ECU" dir, of EPROM and Internal Flash.

VIN is VSSZZZ5FZFR058329 if needed.

I have a couple of small question though:
Firsly ofcause if transfer is possible for these 2?

Secondly - before i needed to replace the original ECU i had a tune made, based on the original files from the old ecu - will i be able to use this tune after transfer (if only the EPROM is modded?) - if not - would it be possible to use the tune as the base for the modifications? (if not, too bad - i will have to get it re-made then). Just in case i have included the tune in the "OLD ECU" dir and the file is called .tune

And if ECU's wont match, would it be possible to make a immo off of the old original that i can then use on the new ecu (no warning lights/errorcodes)?

where is data from your Ori ECU from car
because this dont much to Vin= ZFR058329

Okay sorry for the confusion, but that is very wierd. - the vin i wrote was from an ID i made with MPPS not the actual tool i used (KTAG) However i now just looked up the vin in the registration database and it is indeed: VSSZZZ5FZFR058329 however - i also just checked all my read files and the Old Ori file is indeed the file i sent to you, and i have a couple of reads from it and just compared them - they are identical ...

So now i am wondering what could be wrong here, i dont get it?

What is? - i dont get it, normal size for edc17c64 flash is 4mb, and eeprom 64kb ... which is what the size of my files are - what is the problem?
