Just my opinion, take it or leave it:
My recommendation - throw your 6154 clone to the trash. That crap can be used only for reading the errors. If you dare to flash with it, you can brick the flashed unit. I you mean it seriously with VAG cars, buy a used original VAS5054 (about 200 eur) and you are safe coding and flashing for several years. You need 6154 or 6154A only with the latest cars base od MQBw or MEB platform. And as these cars are 99% still covered by warranty, they will go to authorised service centre and not any other garage. |
