RE: FDRS connection problem
FDRS Vehicle Coverage
Coverage has been extended with the following additions: Ford J2534 Diagnostic Software (FJDS) Provides the same functionality and vehicle coverage as IDS for the model years below with J2534 Devices. FORD The following vehicles are supported by FDRS 2018+ Expediion/Navigator 2018+ Ecosport 2019+ Ranger 2020+ Transit 2019+ Transit Connect 2020+ Explorer/Aviator 2020+ Super Duty 2020+ Escape/Corsair 2021+ F-150 2021+ Edge/Nautilus 2021+ Mach-E All other vehicles are supported by IDS/FJDS Your Mondeo MK5 isn't covered by FDRS? When you buy things you have to check first if this is good for you. For Mondeo Mk5 you need IDS and Fords VCM2 or Ford VCM3 or FJDS with a passthru Maybe you did confusion between FDRS and FJDS. In conclusion uninstall IDS and install FJDS. Do not uninstall FDRS. Good luck |
