ENET works for 2017 onwards with the newer OBD plug. ENET cables don't work on the 10 pin bikes I have found. Need ICOM and ICOM D cable.

The concepts are mixed here!

From 2016/09 is the OBDII/EOBD connector but not the ENET!!!
ENET is only an interface connetion in OBD plug, but this exist only when TFT monitor has in bike!
All bmw bike with OBD connector has D-CAN interface.
Old 10 pin plug has D-CANand K-line, depend on BN2020 or BN2000 eletrical sistem!

Perfect; that's exactly what I needed to know. I've found that the DCAN cable from my E9X BMW's works for diagnostics, but I guess I'll have to pick up an ICOM for programming/coding.

With D-CAN interface can you use for diagnostic, but for programming/coding use ICOM-A/A2 or ICM NEXT A.
Only if the bike has 10 pin diagnostic connector you need plus ICOM-D or ICOM NEXT-D interface for coding/programming!

So, on a K54 R1200rs 07/2017, I can use ENET with ISTA? For diagnostics / adaptations. Not for coding.
