Hi to you all,

When I use ISTA 3.33.XX and 3.34.XX with a ENET cable on my BMW R1250R (Euro 4), I cannot clear faults. When I use ISTA with ICOM everything works fine.

When I connect ISTA and ENET cable to my car (X1), it all works fine. It seems to be a problem with the motorcycle. 

Anybody have seen this before?

First, in short: this is not a BMW car!
I mean the electical topology is not the same as the car.
In the BMW motorbike the "gateway" is the BMSK or BMSKP, BMSX... so always the motorcontroller.
When the bike has TFT kombi so called KOMBHI then the ethernet vonnection is go to the KOMBI directly, not to the gateway!
Slightly similar to the E series car with CIC from 2008/09, where ethernet is go only the headunit!

It is not excluded that the TFT KOMBHI can to reach with ENET cable and E-sys, but the whole bike is not likely.

I can see the ECU of all the units in ISTA, but can't delete errors (fault) or update the I-level with the ENET cable.

Have you got the setting turned on in the config file for allowing programming with ENET cable?

It may be the problem of setting the network access port. Please try it

It is normal. When using enet connection goes to tft and then tft to CAN network but it is not real gateway so limited functionality.

You need ICOM to use ISTA fully(clear faults etc...) with BMW motorcycle.
You don't need ICOM to use ISTA with Car because enet cable works fine and fully.
But motorcycle does need ICOM.
