Heres the deal im a trailblazer expert

you have one of a couple problems
the atmel chip you speak of is the correct chip it stores the mileage

depending on the year the chip will be in the middle right or down by the displays I believe

on the trailblazer you don't need to use that eeprom part of digi

just goto cars chevy try trailblazer first if that doesn't read its a newer trailblazer and you need to use avalanche

now when you read if you get the wrong mileage you digi is not reading x out of it if it doesn't read right


meter your clip and make sure you have connection at plug end and at digi plug end on each pin

if your clip meters good you do not have it connected properly

when you get it the right direction it will read proper mileage then enter your new mileage and away you go no need to unsolder I do 03 tb all the time I only charge 50 bux cause there so easy
