i have E60 CIC V57 (C1A) 9273158 with combox retofited but no apps and it is activated with script i want to flash just adr63 with E89 files V57 to get apps

- the script will work to activate apps ?
in my case i have to choose (9283418/ opa : 9283419/ oda : 9283421) for naab is it the same _0202JP !
do i have to flash again adr62 after 63 with V57 ?

I never seen an script activation for apps.

I think you will get problems with your script after flashing cic.

Maybe it's gone after flash.

And I never tried to only flash adr63 without these others I think this will cause problems.

But why you want to flash with files from e89? Why not e60?

The only thing is you have to code it manually to work with apps.
Or with an ssd file (ncs) based on e89 with all VO/FA entry's necessary for apps and internet and and and.

Look at my posts I posted A while ago my fsw_psw from cic and media with working apps, internet etc.
Look at these files and check the difference with yours.

To activate apps there is an solution with custom fsc set for any vehicle vin that never had cic installed from factory.
I think it's possible too for e60.
Search for darksys or MEN from B M W T O O L S . INFO
These guys have this solution for I think about 60usd.

i know that to get apps in E60 CIC must flash adr63 with E89 files because E60 never sold with combox from Dealer, i am already in V57 and i wont downgrade (C1A) ,i dont minde if i have to flash 63,62 and A0 i want to know if i am right with the files, for script , i have activated it my self , i had emulator before to get navigation and voice control work , i took it out and i activated my CIC by script everything works fine ,so i imagine if flash my CIC adr63 with E89 files and i activate it with script gonna make apps works for free

I think it's gonna working with manual coding.
Make an ssd file with e89 specs. Add apps in VO and code your cic.
I know it will work. (With v41)
(E89 file is not need but can cause problems in your e60)

I know that there is no script that can activate apps.
Never heared about that.

When I retrofit my combox I also ask darksys about script activation and apps.
He told me that there is no solution without an Fsc inside of cic.
The script can only work when there is an Fsc stored in cic.
That means that when your cic never had an specific option (Fsc stored) you never will get it work with scripts.

An script don't activate anything when you will do it on virgin cic that never get an Fsc stored into.

So I know that it will not work.

But when you downgrade its an other thing because apps havend an Fsc in v41.
Or you store an Fsc in cic.
Why not an Fsc for your VIN?!
You have not to downgrade or anything with this solution.
It's done in 20minutes.

I make maybe 5 or 6 navigation units (cic and nbt)
And never had problems with it.

Rethink your way. It's easier.

Flashing an ecu is always an risk!!
Only flash when it's necessary!

Thank you so much , now every thing is clear , so i need a repair kit for the cic vin dooner and i have to store fsc 9C in the cic right ?
or i have to downgrade the cic unit to V41 which is risky ,CIC utility or ista p could do the job ? i've searched a lot to find a US or Russian VIN to put it in CMEDIA to get internet activated in France but without succes , F10 VIN can work ?

Yes it's Right you need an 9c Fsc .
Maybe the donor never had apps. than you have to do it with v41 or custom fsc kit for your VIN (you don't need script anymore)

Cic utility can do the job buuuuut u need the activated one from bimmerretrofit not the free version.
Istap cant do it because istap look only on the vin from vehicle (cas) and the repairkit fsc from donor isn't the same vin like yours.
So istap cant do it.
You need fstool for this job.

I have an us vin. It works perfekt!
You can find us vin by google.
Search for "Buy a BMW in nevada"
In the USA all stores have to place the vin in the annonce.
You can simply search for an e92 with connected drive and take the vin.
Bmwconnecteddrivetesttool.exe is a good test tool to test vin's.

I don't know if f10 vin will work never test it.

Got it , i think it is the best way to get apps in e60 is to get custom fsc repair kit and it is safer
