Can you give SZL part number which you have in a car now?

I checked my colleague E61 who has  AFS and same production date. I made some comparing in Tool32.
Check attachment.
I also added operation report, that I made today. Please check that too.
I noticed that ZB nr doesn't match at all, despite both being the same SZL by hardware.

So you are saying that in the first test total steering angle behaved correctly, but immediately repeated in the second it was constant?

The first one was showing angles, but the second didn't.
Then I repeated and picked different option.
I don't know even why it didn't show anything. Or it read from SZL?

Now that is STRANGE. How did you update software in SZL??? 9136895 is for cars WITHOUT AL, 9136898 is for cars WITH AL!!! (There are more numbers depending on some other car features, I just checked these two from your screenshot)

No wonder your SZL is not sending data where it belongs.

I updated by using comfort mode in winkfp. I wonder if I can change it to the right ZB. Or do I have to use expert mode? How do I know which ZB number is right for me?

Well ETK does not list different SZL for AL/non-AL... I was sure it was different 10 years ago, but after looking at ETK my memory may fail me... But then 9136895 is not in ETK any more. So maybe it was for non-AL cars only but was discontinued since then.

In such cases I usually use ISTA-P to determine if the number is correct. But I believe you need different SZL.

P.S. After looking at kmm_SG.txt I believe even more so.
P.P.S. Do you have a part number of your original SZL?

P.P.P.S. I have read your posts one more time and now am completely lost. You say that your SZL is 9136898? This is with AL. But then your friend's would be 9136895 which is without AL but works with AL? Something is not right here. Can you clarify which is your friend's and which is yours?

Since my colleague E61 share the same equipment as my E61, I'll try to update ZB number to the same as his. Let's hope for the best.

Can you look at SZL itself for hardware number? 9136895 and 9136898 should have different hardware numbers.

No, we don't have steering wheel heating. ETK shows the same part number for both of us and it's 61319136898
