Is this working also on G series with dkombi?

No, on G series you search in kombi cafd like this "CC_MELDUNG_0XXX" where XXX is the ccid number

I have seen some G Series cars still with the older method like F Series.

But I also have seen some G Series cars with CC_MELDUNG_0XXX like you mention.

I thought would be much easier with this new method. I have tried making coding changes which are accepted by dkombi, but the check control warnings still show on Kombi and CID. . 

Can someone please let me know if there is some kind of extra steps or tricks needed to do this?

I also tried changing settings for CC_MELDUNG_0000 and also the UNBELGHT setting to 00/Nicht Aktive in case that could have helped but I did not see any difference.

Check which CC_ID you get shown --> with i5тд. Then calculate and search for it with one of the 2 options you mentioned

Of course it is possible, even for E-Series. Just upload your NCD and edit any CC-ID. Use this tool
