Hi,

I would like to flash alpina software to F01 03/2009 750i.
I know what do add to VO and flash procedure but what typschlussel and ZK to use?

Finally got this working on my 335d, Thank you for all the help on here.

However, it seems I now have a problem after flashing the software.
Rheingold is reporting that the IHKA and CON Ecus are not responding.

The only symptoms I have in the car is that programmable memory buttons are
not working on the idrive. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

I have read the whole 31 pages of this thread but haven't seen anyone with F30/N55/N20 (Gasoline) cars have tried this. I would like to try this on my F30/N55 (335i). What type code would you use it to try this? Is there any resource that shows the Alpina cars type codes?

If you had read all posts you will get the answer, someone with N20/N55 tried and got lim mode. It is because the Alpina EGS firmware for 8HP70, which some diesel car also uses it, but N20/N55 with 8HP45.
For your car, paid solution is available. (i.e. xhp tool)

Yeah sorry I must've missed that then.. However, a local dude said that he can do flash my car with Alpina :/ I will contact him to see what he is talking about then lol...

I have followed that procedure and everything is running fine, but the transmission is shifting around 4500 like you would expect the diesel to. I have verified I am VO coding the EGS with my unmodified original VO loaded from the car (VCM was not written during flash).

Was this comment wrong or did I miss something? Thanks!

Figured it out. Was misinterpreting the post that said this is the process for "all" 8HP70.

I used the correct type code for the B5 base instead of the D5 base and everything worked out.
