For issues with the device not being recognised:
Plug USB cable in.
Check in Device manager under Network Devices.
Remove the VAS6154A network from this list.
Remove cable.
Replug it in. Adaptor will now beep and all should connect as normal

For issues with dropped connection:
Make sure you have downloaded and installed the FlyObd download package for the 6154A
This installs the VAS6154A service next time you boot.
You need this service running in order to sync the device to the VAS 6154A driver.
Check in Services.msc to make sure service is there and running.

I think 7.2.1 only supports 5054A or 6154.
So it may not work

Is there any reason why you still want it to work with 7.2.1 when you have the newer version anyway ?

I tried windows 7 with odis-S 6.2 and windows 10 with odis-s 7.2 - not work. Odis-E 12.2 work fine both PC.

I am working with odis-s 7.2.1 and 9.1 on windows 10 and windows 11 and no issues.

your issue is the pdu_api_root.xml file... fix the paths and will work. You will have the same problem even you connect OEM VAS6154.

I am using it only over wifi and works just perfect on windows 11. Tool firmware 1 v0.4, firmware 2 v1.0.0.15.
